Overall Purpose of the Job

We are looking for reliable, hands-on operational team player to drive key daily operations. This role involves handling bundles of newspapers and working with vendors and lorry drivers to ensure papers are collected correctly. If you prefer an active, hands-on role that skips the 9 to 5 rush, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying, packing and stacking bundles of newspapers– it involves carrying bundles to the table, break-bulking and packing, thereafter stacking the bundles back onto pallets.

• Line operations - it involves standing for a certain period of time at the Line Machines and occasionally needs to clear/carry jammed bundles of newspaper.

• Handling of Offline strapping machines - it involves carrying/lifting of bundles of newspaper.

• Work at the loading bay and oversee that the vendors and lorry drivers collect their papers correctly - it involves carrying bundles aside to check the labels.

• Transfer products manually and with pallet trucks

• Data entry work

Required Qualifications

• ‘N’/‘O’ Level or higher

• Physically able to carry loads up to 20kg

• Willing to take on rotating day and night shifts

• Basic computer literacy

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Works well with a team

• Experience working in a factory environment is beneficial

 (SPH Print Centre is located at 2, Jurong Port Road. Company transport will be provided from Clementi and Chinese Garden MRT Stations)
